Plate Cleaner
A Plate Cleaner is a professional automatic cleaning solution developed for the flexographic and label printing industries. It is designed to safely and efficiently wash flexographic polymer plates and letterpress plates after printing.
Plates are loaded onto the machine’s conveyor system, which automatically transports them through the washing process. Specially formulated cleaning liquids and controlled washing action remove ink residues from the plate surface. The cleaned plates are then dried, allowing them to be reused or placed into storage shortly after cleaning.
The automated process provides a more consistent cleaning method than manual washing while helping reduce the risk of plate damage caused by improper handling or aggressive cleaning. Proper plate cleaning is important because damaged or contaminated plates can negatively affect print quality.
Flexo Wash supplies different plate-washing models to accommodate various production requirements. Current models cover plate widths from approximately 45 cm to 130 cm, with configurations available for fresh-water operation or closed-loop wash-water systems. Special DLE plate washers are also available for gently removing dust from laser-engraved plates after engraving.

How It Works
Loading – The used printing plate is placed onto the machine’s conveyor.
Washing – The plate passes through the cleaning section where specially formulated cleaning liquids remove ink and residues.
Rinsing – The plate is rinsed to remove remaining cleaning solution and loosened contaminants.
Drying – The plate is dried, leaving it ready for reuse or storage.

Cleaning Liquids
